This component aims to facilitate SME access to appropriate financial products and services, through the following means
Financial education and the digitization of financial products and services
Setting up a mechanism for awarding grants to startups and innovative companies run by women and young people
Setting up agreements with financial partners (banks and selected microfinance institutions) to provide subsidized lines of credit to very small, small and medium-sized enterprises.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

COMPONENT 1 <\/span><\/strong>Strengthening the competitiveness of companies<\/h4>

Instruments :<\/strong><\/p>

Strengthening the production base of target companies through the Productivity Support Scheme (DAP)<\/p>

Capacity-building for local business clusters and incubators, by upgrading the SME support ecosystem.<\/p>

Awareness-raising and support from administrative authorities, including at local level, to improve the business climate for SMEs<\/p>

A tool for boosting the SME support ecosystem:<\/p>

Be a local or national business group recognized by the relevant authorities (business associations, inter-professions, incubators, cooperatives).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Conditions of access to the Productivity Support Scheme<\/strong><\/p>

Be a formal Cameroonian VSE or PE, whose place of production is in the Project's target regions, and which operates in the agriculture, livestock, fishing and aquaculture, and agri-food processing sectors;<\/p>

Be a digital start-up, in its post-incubation phase, with a validated product<\/p>

Applications must be submitted online or at the OSSP-CMR headquarters building by the deadlines specified in the calls for applications.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

COMPONENT 2: <\/span>Conquering corporate markets<\/h4>

Objectives :<\/strong><\/p>

Identify constraints to market access for beneficiary companies;<\/p>

Implement an integrated action plan to help companies overcome these constraints, in particular by improving<\/p>

compliance with standards and access to public procurement ;<\/p>

Produce and distribute market studies for SMEs in priority target sectors, with a view to improving knowledge of the industries in which these companies operate, facilitating their positioning and seizing new market opportunities;<\/p>

Develop and implement innovative and digital means to facilitate the sale of company products;<\/p>

Refine the eligibility criteria for companies benefiting from certain Project support measures;<\/p>

Assist the PMU National Coordinator in the design, development and implementation of any other activities relating to the diagnosis and strengthening of market access for Project beneficiary companies.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

COMPONENT 3 <\/span>Financial support for companies<\/h4>

The \u201cfinancial support for businesses\u201d component aims to improve SMEs' access to appropriate financial products and services. To this end, three financing mechanisms have been set up for the project's target beneficiaries.<\/p>

  1. Mechanism for granting subsidized credit lines by banks<\/li><\/ol>

    Financial partners: Local banks<\/p>

    Beneficiaries: Small and medium-sized enterprises<\/p>

    Maximum credit amount: FCFA fifty (50) million<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
